PLANT CITY, Fla. – A 39-year-old Plant City woman has died after a crash that happened around 7:50 am on Sunday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the woman was driving a Honda Civic westbound on SR-60, east of Ramsgate Place.
Investigators say the woman lost control of the vehicle, crossed the grass median, and collided with a car that was driving eastbound.
Troopers say both cars rotated to a stop along the south grass shoulder and center median respectively.
The 39-year-old Plant City woman died at the scene of the crash, according to Troopers.
The driver of the second car, a 27-year-old Plant City woman, and a 3-year-old child suffered only minor injuries in the crash.
