PLANT CITY, Fla. – Drivers in Plant City should be aware of a road closure on East Terrace Drive that will be in effect through Thursday, February 27th. The closure, which began earlier today, affects the section of East Terrace Drive between Paul Buchman Highway and Stalvey Oaks Drive.
Crews are working to repair the railroad crossing in that area, necessitating the closure. The road is expected to reopen on Thursday at noon, barring any unforeseen delays.

Detours have been posted to guide motorists around the work zone. Drivers can utilize North Frontage Road as an alternate route to avoid the closure.
Navigation apps have also been updated to reflect the detour and will route users around the affected area.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and exercise caution when driving near the work zone.
