According to Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay, in the early hours of August 13, 2023, near Jenkins Street and S. Morgan Street in Plant City, a father and son exited their vehicle in an attempt to de-escalate an argument between a family member and an unknown male when they were shot.
Both victims died as a result of their injuries. The suspects are believed to be driving a black, early 2000 2-door Ford Mustang with loud exhaust and a dark-colored sedan.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspects involved in this case.
