PLANT CITY, Fla. – A devastating fire ripped through a two-story residential structure on Frank Moore Rd. in Plant City on Tuesday evening.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) responded to the scene after receiving 911 calls from a homeowner reporting smoke and flames around 8:53 pm.

The first unit arrived within six minutes of dispatch, finding the house fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters battled the blaze, but their efforts were hindered when the roof partially collapsed, followed by the complete collapse of the structure.

After an hour-long struggle, the fire was brought under control. While there were no civilian or firefighter injuries, tragically, two dogs perished in the fire.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation
