A pipeline fire broke out in La Porte, Texas, a suburb of Houston, on Monday morning, sparking grass fires and damaging power poles.
The blaze prompted authorities to order evacuations in the nearby Brookglen neighborhood.
The fire started around 9:55 a.m. and quickly spread, causing damage to a nearby park. Firefighters are actively working to contain the flames and protect nearby homes.
Residents are urged to avoid the area and follow instructions from law enforcement. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
