PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – A Pinellas Park woman has been charged with shooting and killing her boyfriend after an argument escalated to shots fired Sunday.
According to police, on Sunday at approximately 4:48 PM, officers responded to 5803 69th Avenue about a shooting.
Arriving officers located Troy Green, 58, suffering from a gunshot wound. Green was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Through the investigation, detectives learned Troy Green and his long-term girlfriend, Sherene Norton, 52, engaged in a verbal argument that escalated when Norton shot Green.
Norton has been charged with Manslaughter and booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
While an arrest has been made, the investigation into this incident continues, police say.
