Pinellas Park To Open Sandbag Locations For Residents

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Pinellas Park residents can prepare for potential flooding from the approaching storm by collecting sandbags starting tomorrow. The city will open two sandbag sites, offering up to 10 sandbags per resident.

Locations and Times:

  • Pre-made Sandbags: 6151 78th Ave N. – Tuesday (9/24) from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Wednesday (9/25) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (weather permitting)
  • Self-Serve Sandbags: Helen Howarth Park, 6301 94th Avenue – Tuesday (9/24) from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Wednesday (9/25) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (weather permitting)

Residents must bring a water bill and/or a valid driver’s license as proof of residency.
