PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – Pinellas Park Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured early this morning.

The incident occurred around 12:53 a.m. on November 15th in the 6500 block of 68th Avenue North. A man was walking across the street when he fell in the roadway. A white or silver SUV, described as making a wide right turn, then struck the man and fled the scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, but is currently listed in stable condition.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver and the vehicle involved.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.
