PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – The Pinellas Park Police department is asking for assistance in helping to locate a disabled 34-year-old adult male who has been listed as missing.
Police say Thomas Phanphilathip, who is disabled, has been missing since July 27, 2022, when he rode away from his group home on his bicycle.
Thomas is described as an Asian male, 5’05” and 180 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray tank top, and blue basketball shorts, with either black flip-flops or gray and black LeBron James sneakers.
His bike is a 24″ Nishiki Pueblo mountain bike that is teal and purple in color. Thomas is developmentally delayed and has no known family in the area.
In the past, he has been known to frequent fast food restaurants in the area of 62nd Street and 9th Ave N. in St Petersburg and he has frequented the area of Holiday in Pasco County.
A Purple Alert has already been issued for Thomas through FDLE.
At this time investigators don’t believe his missing status to be the result of suspicious activity and we are only trying to locate his whereabouts and return him safely to his group home.
