PINELLAS PARK, FL. – The Pinellas Park Police Department responded to a crash located at 62nd Ave N and 55th St.
Once on the scene, officers found a male and a female with life-threatening injuries resulting from the collision.
Both individuals were taken to a local hospital, where the female was pronounced deceased.
The male victim is listed in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
The crash involved a motorcycle and a red Chevrolet Camaro. After the initial collision with the motorcycle, the red Camaro struck the church building of Our Lady of Good Hope, located at 5501 62nd Ave.
The building sustained damage, but no one was inside the building at the time of the crash.
The driver of the red Chevrolet Camaro fled the scene before the arrival of law enforcement.
