According to investigators, Hill’s Nissan Armada veered into the adjacent lane, striking the driver’s side of the Honda. The impact sent the Honda off the road, where it collided with a concrete pole. The pole snapped and fell on top of the Honda. Hill’s Armada continued south before losing control, hitting a tree in the median, and overturning multiple times.
Arislenne Blanco, 38, of St. Petersburg, a passenger in the Honda, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda, who has not been identified, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital.
