PINNELAS PARK, Fla. – Today is the 50th annual Pinellas Park Christmas Parade. The parade route runs EASTBOUND from 58th Street to US 19 along Park Blvd.
For safety reasons, Park Blvd. will be closed from 66th Street to US 19. Pinellas Park Police Officers will begin to close Park Blvd at 66th Street starting at 12:30 this afternoon.
Officers will continue working eastbound until all of Park Blvd. is closed in advance of the parade, which will start at 6:00 PM.
Park Blvd. will remain closed for all eastbound traffic for the duration of the parade, with an anticipated reopening of the entire roadway at approximately 11:00 PM. Westbound traffic will not be affected.
All northbound arteries, south of Park Blvd., will be closed. Residents and guests are advised to use 70th Avenue for east and west passage. Residents and guests north of Park Blvd., looking to traverse east and west, are advised to use 78th Avenue. For north and south travel, residents should utilize US Highway 19 N, 66th St, or Belcher Rd.
