PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) has extended water restrictions for Pinellas County due to ongoing drought conditions.
These restrictions will remain in effect until September 1, 2024.
Important Reminders:
- One-day-per-week watering schedules remain in place for all Pinellas County residents, regardless of water source (city water, private wells, or surface water).
- Adjust your irrigation timers to comply with the designated watering days:
- City water (potable): Even addresses on Saturdays, Odd addresses on Sundays.
- Private wells or surface water: Even addresses on Saturdays, Odd addresses on Sundays.
- Reclaimed water (voluntary): Even addresses on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; Odd addresses on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
- Restriction enforcement will be increased.
