PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office DUI Unit and several deputies were recognized for their outstanding efforts in combating drunk and drugged driving at the 2024 Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Awards Recognition Event held in Fort Myers.
The unit received the Outstanding Dedication to Drugged Driving Enforcement Agency Award, while Deputy L. Temple was named Outstanding Dedication to DUI Enforcement Law Enforcement Officer.

Five deputies also received Century Achiever Awards for apprehending over 100 DUI offenders in a year.
