Pinellas County Sheriff Deputies To Deliver Easter Meals To Those In Need

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Today, deputies assigned to the Community Policing Unit will be loading sheriff’s office vehicles with holiday meals. The deputies will deliver those meals to 50 families that they identified through their daily work in the community.

Those families have been identified in the areas of Ridgecrest, Highpoint, Lealman, St. Petersburg, and other areas throughout north Pinellas County.

Each meal includes a fully cooked ham, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, navy beans, sliced pineapple, peanut butter and grape jelly or macaroni and cheese, a loaf of white bread, jelly beans, apple juice, and iced tea.

This will be the 16th year these organizations have partnered for this event.

Similar events are conducted for Thanksgiving and the Christmas Holiday.

Throughout the year, Calvary Episcopal Church continues their work through the Beach Community Food Pantry which is open every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

They are always accepting monetary donations and all non-perishable donations of food products. If anyone would like to help with holiday meals, or to donate, please contact the Calvary Episcopal Church at 727-595-2374, or see their website at www.calvaryirb.org for additional information
