PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Pinellas County is offering a helping hand to residents cleaning up after Hurricane Milton. Starting today, two residential storm debris drop-off sites are open for unincorporated areas:
- Clearwater: 13600 Icot Boulevard
- East Lake: Corner of Keystone Road and East Lake Road
These sites will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until further notice. Don’t forget to bring your ID for proof of residency in unincorporated Pinellas County.

What can you bring?
- Vegetation: Logs, plants, tree branches… basically anything your yard threw up after the storm.
- Construction & Demolition Debris: Building materials, carpet, drywall, furniture, mattresses – you name it, they’ll take it (except electronics and hazardous waste, see below).
- Household Appliances: Got a soggy fridge or a wind-blown washing machine? Bring ’em on down.
What NOT to bring:
- Electronics: Find another way to say goodbye to that old TV.
- Hazardous Waste: No household chemicals, gasoline, or lithium-ion batteries.
- Your bad attitude: Let’s all be nice to the folks helping us clean up this mess.

Important Notes:
- City dwellers: Check with your municipality for debris disposal options.
- HOAs and private communities: The County is working on getting access to those areas for debris pickup.
- Curbside pickup: Regular curbside debris pickup will resume soon. Check pinellas.gov/debris for updates.
