Operation Medicine Cabinet also serves to educate the public about the potential dangers of keeping unused medications and the importance of proper disposal methods.

Residents who were unable to participate in the event can still safely dispose of unwanted medications year-round at drop-off containers located at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Administration Building in Largo and the North District Station in Dunedin.
