PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Pinellas County officials are urging residents to participate in the National Community Survey, a comprehensive assessment designed to gather feedback on various aspects of community life. The survey, which launched on March 27, 2025, will be available online until April 10, 2025.
The National Community Survey aims to gauge residents’ opinions on key areas such as public safety, local government services, infrastructure, the economy, and overall quality of life. The data collected will help county officials understand residents’ perceptions of their community and its governance, ultimately informing future priorities and decision-making.

Residents can access the survey online through the Pinellas County website. It is available in both English and Spanish to ensure broad participation.
“The National Community Survey uses your feedback to help our Board and County staff identify priorities that will improve the quality of life in Pinellas County,” said Commission Chair Brian Scott.
The survey is endorsed by the International City/County Management Association and the National League of Cities, indicating its reliability and effectiveness. Communities that utilize this tool have reported improvements in service delivery, enhanced communication with stakeholders, and clearer identification of strategic priorities.

“If you live or work in Pinellas County, we want to hear from you as we map out our community’s future,” Scott emphasized.
