Philadelphia Man Arrested After Breaking Into Florida Fire Station, Ransacking Post-Super Bowl

A Philadelphia fan, obviously unhappy with the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory, landed in jail overnight after breaking into a fire station, ransacking, and stealing from it.

A Philadelphia fan, obviously unhappy with the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory, landed in jail overnight after breaking into a fire station, ransacking, and stealing from it.

25-year-old Edward Dalasandro will be spending some time behind bars after breaking into the fire station on NE Ocean Boulevard.

According to deputies, Dalasandro, who resides in Philadelphia, broke into the fire station around 10:00 pm, ransacked the bunk rooms, urinated on the carpet, and stole $126.00, a uniform hat, and some knives.

When firefighters confronted him, he threw a meat cleaver at them. Firefighters were able to contain him until deputies arrived.

Edward Dalasandro was charged with armed burglary, aggravated assault on a firefighter, and petit theft.

“He was taken to the Martin County Jail, where the eagle was officially grounded for the second time in one night,” said MCSO.
