“Last year, we took in nearly 3,300 stray dogs and cats, but only 573 were returned to their homes,” says PCAS Director Mike Shumate.  “We want to get stray pets back to their owners as quickly as possible.  This generous grant from Petco Love will provide more resources to make that happen. We encourage pet owners to microchip and license their pets to help us get them home as soon as possible.”

Petco Love is a national nonprofit organization that promotes the strong bond between people and their pets – through love.  The group has awarded over $300 million since 1999 to help with adoption and other lifesaving efforts.
