POLK COUNTY, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman who attacked a vehicle and its occupants at a Shell gas station in Polk City. The incident, which occurred on February 8th at the Shell station located at 1821 State Road 559, involved assault and criminal mischief.

The suspect, described as an Asian female, pulled up to a gas pump in a blue Hyundai Sonata with a California license plate. She then approached the victim’s vehicle, where the victim was still seated in the driver’s seat, and threw an unopened can of Pepsi inside, striking a 3-year-old child in the head. Fortunately, the child was not injured.

The woman then proceeded to attack the victim’s vehicle, striking it with her fist while holding a key, causing visible gouge marks. She also kicked the rear of the vehicle, leaving dents.

Detectives have released images of the suspect, who was wearing a lime green shirt at the time of the incident. They are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying her.
