A 45-year-old Pennsylvania woman was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of children after police say she moved out of state and left her 15-year-old son behind.
“It was reported that a juvenile was living alone at the home for approximately one month. An officer met with the victim. The victim reported that Bogroff moved to New Jersey about one month ago. She returns on occasion, but they never know when,” said the Manheim Township Police Department in a statement.
Police say the woman, Tiffani Chanel Bogroff, communicates only on Facebook Messenger with her son and sometimes sends money to her son via CashApp for food.

According to police, the child stays at the house alone and cares for two dogs and a cat.
Police say the house has no heat, and the child has a space heater in their room.
The house also has no running water, and the gas has been shut off. It is cluttered and contains trash and spoiled and rotten food.
The child told officials that they ‘sometimes attend school’, but they find it difficult to wake up in the morning since they are alone.

A relative reported that they periodically took the victim to the grocery store and brought them to the relative’s home to shower and wash clothes.
On Saturday, January 27, Pennsville Township Police in New Jersey located and arrested Bogroff. She is being held in the Salem County Correctional Facility while awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
