Christopher Horsfield, 50, was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release for producing images depicting the sexual exploitation of a child.
According to U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam, Horsfield, formerly of Stroudsburg, engaged in the acquisition, creation, and distribution of child pornography between November 2022 and August 2023. Disturbingly, some of this material involved minor victims Horsfield abused directly.
The investigation began with a report of inappropriate contact between a minor and another individual. Law enforcement discovered communications on that individual’s phone that included videos of Horsfield sexually exploiting a child.

A subsequent search of Horsfield’s phone revealed a massive collection of child pornography, including 2,125 images and 218 videos.
This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse. The program brings together federal, state, and local resources to apprehend and prosecute offenders, and to identify and rescue victims.
