Pennsylvania Man Gets 204-Months In Prison For Drug Trafficking, Money Laundering

Alexis Brolin Jr., 55, of Allport, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to over 17 years in federal prison for his involvement in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy, illegal firearm possession, and money laundering. Senior U.S. District Judge Kim R. Gibson handed down the sentence on September 20, 2024.

Brolin was a key figure in a drug trafficking ring operating in Western Pennsylvania between July 2019 and April 2020. He was responsible for distributing large quantities of methamphetamine in Clearfield and surrounding areas.

Evidence presented in court revealed Brolin’s use of federal wiretaps to obtain kilogram quantities of methamphetamine, which he then distributed to others.

During an interdiction stop in April 2020, Brolin was arrested with over 650 grams of methamphetamine intended for distribution in Clearfield. A subsequent search of his residence uncovered additional methamphetamine, along with 11 firearms and ammunition. As a convicted felon, Brolin was prohibited from possessing any firearms.

Brolin also pleaded guilty to money laundering charges. He conspired with others to conduct financial transactions involving the proceeds of his drug trafficking activities between July 2019 and June 2020.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Maureen Sheehan-Balchon prosecuted the case.
