TAMPA, Fla. – A 63-year-old Tampa man was killed Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle while crossing US 41.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. north of 118th Avenue East. A 35-year-old Tampa man was driving a Mazda 3 southbound on US 41 when the pedestrian walked into the path of his vehicle.

The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Mazda was uninjured.
FHP is investigating the crash. No further details are available at this time.
