Pedestrian Fatally Struck By SUV In Pinellas Park

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A pedestrian was killed Wednesday night after being struck by an SUV in Pinellas Park.

The incident occurred around 10:16 p.m. on the 3400 block of Gandy Boulevard. According to the Pinellas Park Police Department, the pedestrian was attempting to cross Gandy Boulevard outside of a designated crosswalk when they were hit by an eastbound SUV.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene and pronounced the pedestrian deceased.

The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
