Pedestrian Critically Injured In Tampa Crash

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police are investigating a serious crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian that occurred this evening on East Busch Boulevard.

At approximately 7:50 p.m., officers responded to the 4100 block of E Busch Blvd. Upon arrival, they found an adult female pedestrian in the roadway with life-threatening injuries. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital.

The driver of the vehicle, also an adult female, remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

Westbound lanes of E Busch Blvd. are currently closed between N 42nd Street and N 46th Street while police investigate the crash.
