PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Paul R. Smith Middle School in Hudson was temporarily placed on controlled campus status today as Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated a rumored school threat. The threat was determined to be unfounded, and normal operations have resumed.
During the investigation, a student pulled the school’s fire alarm.
This incident was unrelated to the earlier potential threat and was addressed swiftly. The school remains safe, and there is no ongoing threat.
