Pasco Sheriff Updates Homicide Investigation, Search Continues For Missing Family In Hudson

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office (PSO) held a press conference Saturday to address the recent discovery of human remains in Hiudon. This comes as the search for a missing family of 4 in the area continues.

Sheriff Chris Nocco said they could not yet confirm the human remains were that of a member of the missing family, including Rain Mancini, Phillip Zilliot III, Karma Zilliot & Phillip Zilliot II.

A suspect, Rory Atwood, is in custody, and his property is being searched.

The investigation began after a series of events that started with an argument at the suspect Rory Atwood’s residence on Wednesday night.

By Friday afternoon, human remains, believed to be those of the missing family, were discovered on Atwood’s property.

Atwood has been charged with first-degree homicide based on statements he made and the evidence collected. However, the identities of the remains are yet to be confirmed by the medical examiner.
