PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office (PSO) successfully prevented a “street takeover” planned on State Road 54 last weekend.
Street takeovers involve dangerous stunts that obstruct traffic and could delay emergency responses.
While investigating the takeover attempt, deputies arrested two individuals who fled the scene on a motorcycle and impounded the vehicle.

“The Pasco Sheriff’s Office reminds our community and those who wish to conduct an event like this in Pasco County that blocking intersections or otherwise preventing the flow of traffic will not be tolerated and will be enforced to the furthest extent of the law,” said PSO.
