PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco County is experiencing extensive flooding along the US 19 corridor due to Hurricane Helene, prompting a major response from the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Chris Nocco and deputies are actively engaged in over 20 ongoing water rescue operations. Residents in need of assistance are urged to call 911 immediately.

Rising waters have forced the closure of all lanes of US 19 from Main St. to Grand Blvd. and Main St. to River Gulf Rd. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and avoid the area.
