Pasco Sheriff’s Highway Interdiction Team Seizes 53 Grams Of Methamphetamine

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office Highway Interdiction Team, a specialized unit dedicated to stopping the flow of drugs and human trafficking, made a significant bust on Wednesday, September 4th.

During a traffic stop on US 19 and SR 52, the team, along with narcotics detection K9 Honor, discovered drug paraphernalia, including a digital scale and syringes, along with 53 grams of methamphetamine.

The individual driving the vehicle was promptly arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.

“The Pasco Sheriff’s Office has zero tolerance for narcotic activity and those who would do harm to our community,” said PSO in a statement.
