DADE CITY, Fla. – Pasco Sheriff’s deputies are currently investigating a shooting that happened today around 1 p.m. in the Johns Rd. area of Dade City.
According to deputies, two teenage girls were fist fighting this afternoon when families and friends started to gather in the area of the fight.
Major Jeffrey Peake with Pasco County Sheriff’s office said someone, or multiple people started firing a gun, striking a 16-year-old girl, an 11-year-old boy, and the boy’s father.
“The Father has since passed away from his injuries,” said Peake. “This shooting (investigation) the case is still very fluid.”
This is a developing story and we will be updating this as more details about this deadly shooting are released.
