WESELY CHAPEL, Fla. – Pasco Sheriff’s Office is currently on the scene of a death investigation in the area of Azalea Ridge Dr. in Wesley Chapel, where three people were found dead inside a home.
Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco said deputies responded to the home for a welfare check and made entry into the home around 6:15 p.m. Monday.
The home had been flooding for the last few days according to a neighbor.
They discovered a 70-year-old man and 63-year-old woman deceased in the living from stab wounds.
Inside a locked bathroom, deputies found a 32-year-old man also deceased from a self-inflicted wound.
“We know he was the son of the 70-year-old male and a 63-year-old female. Neighbors said they saw water coming from this house since probably last week,” said Nocco. “We believe that they were deceased in this house for numerous days before we got here this evening.”
Nocco said that neighbors told investigators that the son was dealing with mental health issues.
“So for the entire family, they have lost three loved ones tonight. We are praying for you, because we can’t imagine what you’re going through. But at the same time for everybody in the community, I keep reiterating the same thing over and over again, if there’s a mental health crisis going on in your family, please find help.” said Nocco.
