DADE CITY, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help in solving a shooting that occurred on August 3rd, around 6:40 p.m. in the Trilby Rd. area of Dade City.

An adult male was shot while walking along the Withlacoochee State Trail. The suspect, described as a Hispanic male teenager wearing a red or burgundy pullover hoodie, drove past the victim and another individual, then turned around and fired a single shot from the back passenger window of what may have been a 2012 to 2019 Nissan Versa.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.
