PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a possible weapon on the Sunlake High School campus Friday but cleared the school and did not locate a gun.
As a precautionary measure, the school has been placed on controlled campus status while the investigation was underway.

After a comprehensive search, deputies have determined that there is no weapon on the premises and no immediate threat to the school.
The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is assisting with a controlled dismissal of students.
