Lesher was previously arrested for a battery on a law enforcement officer, a felony, in Oct. 2022, which resulted in the additional charge of delinquent in possession of a firearm
According to investigators, on August 18 around 9:15 p.m., an adult man was shot following an argument with another adult man. The victim died at the scene.

Witnesses only heard a single shot during the incident.
