PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The popular multi-purpose trail at Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park in Pasco County will be closed for several weeks due to an ongoing paving project.
Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources has shut down the trail during the paving work for safety reasons.
Bicyclists from Starkey Park will not be able to access the Suncoast Trail until the project wraps up, and vice versa.

Access to off-road trails may be restricted at times as well.
“We apologize for the inconvenience, but hope visitors will enjoy a smoother ride when work is finished,” said Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources.
