PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A Seffner man is facing charges of vehicular homicide and DUI manslaughter after a fatal head-on collision on State Road 56 early Saturday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), Kevin Jomell Marshall, 37, was driving a Dodge Durango westbound in the eastbound lanes of SR-56 near Morris Bridge Road when he collided nearly head-on with a Chevy Silverado. The Chevy overturned and burst into flames.

The driver of the Silverado, who has not yet been identified, died at the scene. Marshall and his 33-year-old wife sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
After being released from the hospital, Marshall was arrested. FHP troopers determined he was impaired at the time of the crash, with a breath alcohol content of 0.171, more than twice the legal limit.

Marshall is currently being held at the Pasco County Jail. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
