PASCO COUNTY, FL  – Pasco County Utilities (PCU) customers can now see the 2020 Consumer Confidence Reports for water quality in their service area.

Reports compiled for each public water system provide a unique look into the data and efforts taken to ensure high-quality drinking water.

“Providing safe and dependable drinking water is our number one priority,” said Pasco County Utilities Customer Service Director Sandra Anderson.  “Equally important is sharing the reported data, which showcases the exceptional quality of our water.”

You can see the report for your area by accessing the direct link provided on your Pasco County Utilities water bill or by clicking here: bit.ly/PascoWaterQualityReports.

Water supplied by Pasco County Utilities is closely monitored and meets or exceeds all Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations for the treatment requirements of a public water system.

Treatment prevents waterborne pathogens – such as viruses – from contaminating drinking water and includes filtration and disinfectants that remove or kill pathogens before they ever reach your tap.

Protecting the quality of water starts at home.  Pasco County Utilities reminds you not to throw unused or unwanted medications in toilets or sinks, which can directly affect the quality of our water source: bit.ly/unwantedmeds.
