Pasco County Opens Comfort Stations, Extends POD Hours To Aid Hurricane Helene Victims

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco County is offering essential relief to those affected by Hurricane Helene by opening two comfort stations and extending the hours of its Points of Distribution (POD) locations.

Comfort Stations:

Starting Sunday, September 29th, and operating daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. until further notice, residents can access the following comfort stations:

  • Hudson Library: 8012 Library Rd, Hudson
  • J. Ben Harrill Recreation Complex: 2830 Gulf Trace Blvd, Holiday
  • New Port Richey Recreation & Aquatic Center: 6630 Van Buren St., New Port Richey

These stations will provide air conditioning, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and charging stations. Please note that you will need to bring your own toiletries and laundry supplies.

Extended POD Hours:

The POD locations at Hudson Library Parking Lot and J. Ben Harrill Recreation Complex Parking Lot will now be open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering food and water to those in need while supplies last.
