HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A Hudson man is behind bars after allegedly firing shots outside a Spring Hill bar and then leading Pasco County deputies on a wild chase that ended in a crash.

The incident began around 11:56 p.m. on February 28th at Capone’s bar in Spring Hill. Hernando County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a shooting but the suspect had already fled the scene in a white Dodge Ram truck.

Witnesses said the suspect, later identified as 41-year-old George Labar, had been involved in a physical altercation inside the bar and was escorted out. The altercation continued in the parking lot, where Labar allegedly fired several rounds from a firearm as he drove away, shattering a window of the bar. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Detectives identified Labar as the shooter and issued a warrant for his arrest on charges of Shoot/Throw Deadly Missile (at a Public Dwelling) and Discharging a Firearm in Public (from a Vehicle).
