PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Relief for Pasco County residents! Recent rainfall has significantly improved drought conditions, allowing Pasco County Fire Rescue to lift the Emergency Burn Ban for all unincorporated areas, effective immediately.
Burn Safely, Residents Encouraged
While the burn ban has been lifted, officials urge residents to prioritize safety when engaging in outdoor burning. Pasco County remains drier than normal, and proper precautions are crucial to minimize fire risks.

Activities Now Permitted:
- Open burning
- Campfires/bonfires
- Burning yard waste
Important Reminders:
- A permit from the Florida Forest Service is required for all open burning activities.
