PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The Pasco Board of County Commissioners has declared a Local State of Emergency in anticipation of severe weather from Potential Tropical Cyclone 4, which is expected to impact Florida.
This declaration enables the County Administrator and Emergency Management Director to bypass standard procedures and take necessary actions to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the community.

The Local State of Emergency will remain in effect for seven days or until the County Administrator deems it no longer necessary.
