PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Teams of state and local damage assessors are going door-to-door in Pasco County neighborhoods hit hardest by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

This effort is a partnership between Pasco County Building Construction Services and the Florida Division of Emergency Management.

Focusing on areas west of U.S. 19, the teams will be working through the end of November to gather detailed information about homes that sustained significant damage.

Their inspections will assess damage to foundations, roofs, windows, walls, floors, doors, siding, appliances, and electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
