PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – If you’re a Pasco County resident or business owner, you might be among the thousands with unclaimed cash waiting to be claimed. The Pasco Clerk & Comptroller’s Office currently holds more than $300,000 in unclaimed funds.
According to the Finance Department, $151,486.78 resides in the Clerk’s Office coffers, while $186,471.51 belongs to the County.

Amounts range from a few dollars to thousands. If you find your name on either the County’s or the Clerk’s Office’s unclaimed funds list, you have until September 1st to complete the necessary paperwork to claim your money. Detailed instructions are available in the link above.
Clerk Nikki Alvarez-Sowles encourages everyone to check the list. “More than 2,400 citizens and businesses have unclaimed funds with our Office that they have either forgotten about or never knew was theirs,” said Alvarez-Sowles. “We want to bring awareness and provide the path for them to reclaim their funds.”
