PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The time is right to add a furry friend to your family! Pasco County Animal Services (PCAS) is waiving adoption fees for all available dogs and cats as part of NBCUniversal Local’s annual Clear the Shelters™ event Friday, August 25, 2023, and Saturday, August 26, 2023.
Pasco residents will be required to purchase a county license for each adopted pet. Adoptions include spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping.

“This year, we’re offering two days of waived fees to adopt pets,” said PCAS Director Mike Shumate. “This is the perfect opportunity to visit us, meet our adoptable pets and find the right companion for your family.”
