PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Get ready for a night of cuddles and compassion! Pasco County Animal Services (PCAS) is hosting its second “Shelter Slumber Pawty” on Saturday, April 5, 2025, inviting animal lovers to spend a night with their shelter pets.

Following the success of their previous event, PCAS is opening its doors for a unique overnight experience, offering participants a behind-the-scenes look at shelter operations and engaging activities, all while raising crucial funds for Friends of Animal Services.

This special event, exclusively for animal lovers 18 years and older, provides a rare opportunity to connect with shelter animals and support their well-being.

“The first ‘Shelter Slumber Pawty’ happened in 2017 in St. Louis, and we’re proud to join more than 160 shelters to offer this unique experience this year,” said PCAS Director Mike Shumate. “The money raised will help purchase a mobile adoption vehicle, offering more accessible offsite adoption events, pop-up clinics and food drives to our community.”
