The parents of an OnlyFans model accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend in 2022 have been arrested for allegedly tampering with the murder case.
Courtney Clenney’s parents are accused of hiding and hacking a laptop belonging to murder victim Christian Obumseli, which they retrieved while cleaning Clenney’s apartment after his death, according to WPLG .
Officials arrested 60-year-old Kim Clenney and his wife, 57-year-old Deborah Lyn Clenney, in Texas Tuesday, WPLG reported, citing online records from Travis County, Texas.

The couple reportedly is being held on an out-of-state felony warrant. Obumseli’s lawyers confirmed to NBC6 that Clenney’s parents were arrested at their Austin home on a warrant out of Miami.
According to an arrest affidavit from the Miami-Dade Police, the parents are suspected of working with others to obtain a PIN code to gain “unlawful access” to the late Obumseli’s computer while their daughter was in jail to conceal evidence.
Per the documents, Kim Clenney texted the group, “Hell yeah! That PIN worked!” once they figured out the code.
In court documents obtained by 7News , authorities allege that the parents face counts of unauthorized access or excessive access to a computer, computer system, or electronic device, a third-degree felony.
In a statement, Courtney Clenney’s attorney called the charges against her parents a “power play by prosecutors to control the narrative.”

“We’re extremely surprised and very concerned about the arrest of the Clenney family; this could be an example of prosecutorial overreach and misconduct,” the statement read in part.
“It appears excessive in that the family is now confined in jail awaiting an extradition hearing on what may be an attempt to manipulate media headlines and discredit them before Thursday’s scheduled hearing on a gag order in the case … We believe the Clenney family has been targeted with some trumped up charges to discredit them in the press and make their lives miserable.”
Clenney, now 27, was arrested in August 2022 on a second-degree murder charge in the killing. She claimed self-defense in the death of Obumseli and is being held without bond while she awaits trial.
