TAMPA, Fla. – The westbound I-4 entrance ramp to northbound I-275 will be temporarily closed overnight from 10 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, until 5 a.m. on Friday, October 25, weather permitting.
During this closure, motorists will be directed to detour around the work zone by continuing west on I-4, exiting at Exit 45A (Downtown East/West), and following a detour that includes Orange Avenue, Cass Street, and the Cass Orange Connector to re-enter northbound I-275.

To assist drivers, advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will be in place. Motorists are urged to use caution and stay alert for construction workers as they travel through the work zone.
The temporary ramp closure is required for overhead bridge work as part of the ongoing Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project.
